بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Generally, one must defend their religion of Islam to the best of one’s ability and be upfront about their beliefs and practices
But from a wisdom perspective, one must know that there is the right thing to do and the wise thing to do in almost all subsidiary religious matters if not all.
It is right to defend your Islamic religion but there may come a point in one’s life when they have to keep quiet or reduce informing certain aggressive individuals about their Islamic practices etc given dire circumstances I. E. Fear of being killed, a real fear not a psychologically induced one I..e. Waswas/ satanic insinuations etc
To jump to the conclusion and elaborate on some of the wisdom of being patient through the harm caused by aggressive individuals mocking Islam in front of you or blaspheming against Allah or The Prophet Sallallahu ‘aleihi was Salaam and you having to keep quiet in circumstances of dire necessity and unwise action, is that, Allah is testing your patience, and if you are patient enough and don’t lose your Islamic composure I. E. Sabr/ patience, and Islamic etiquettes I. E. Fighting or killing the perpetrator in a fit of rage, then Allah gives us glad tidings that He is with the Sabireen/ the patient ones.
